A competition introduced in 2014, the Science and Innovation Competition is an opportunity for both science and commerce students to experience management and making leadership decisions in the fields of science. Participants will have the chance to win prize money and network with industry leaders. The Science and Innovation Competition also provides a pathway into the Development programme.

Teams of four will be given a case on a research, technology or scientific company, and will have 24 hours to analyse and develop strategic recommendations for the company. Teams will then have 10 minutes to present their solution, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.

To enter, you must be a paid MCC member. You can enter as a team of four with your friends or individually, in which case we will put you in a team. Each team must have a minimum of two science or engineering students.
