Newly introduced and the first competition of the year; the Sustainability competition is an opportunity for students to gain insights on sustainable business. Making strategic decisions that could impact the future of the case organisation, its workforce, customers and the planet. The competition has a prize money totaling $1000 which should give you some added motivation.
This competition will run alongside the business school sustainability week which sees a range of guest speakers present on various sustainable business issues. For more information on the whole week click here.
Teams will be verbally briefed on the issues faced by an organisation on Monday with three days to research and develop a written proposal. The finalist will then present on Friday evening, with the award ceremony part of sustainability week’s closing ceremony.
$1000 prize pool split as below:
1st place: $500
2nd place: $300
3rd place: $200

Teams of 2-4
The case will be delivered verbally to teams at the the Business School’s Sustainability Week kick off event on the Monday evening (5-6pm). Additional material will be provided to teams via email to support you to crack the case.
All teams will submit a written proposal and the top three teams from the preliminary submissions will then be invited to present to a panel of industry judges at the Friday closing night of Sustainability Week.

Finals Round Presentations: Friday 8th April 5-6pm
