This year we are excited to announce a new case competition! We are partnering with Uber to run the regional Auckland rounds of their Australasian Case Competition!

Our Uber Data Analytics Case Competition will provide students with the chance to analyse a hypothetical operational problem posed by Uber.  Each team will have a week, in a group of 3, to create a pitch examining the issues, analysing the data and providing feasible solutions to be presented to a panel of judges. It will test students’ analytical knowledge, creativity, as well as developing presentation skills in front of a panel of judges.  The winning Auckland team will win a chance to compete at the Grand Finals in Sydney!

Teams of 3 will be provided with a case posing a hypothetical question centred around Uber. They will be required to design a marketing strategy around it.

All teams will submit a pitch and make a 6 minute presentation to a panel of judges followed by 6 minutes of Q&A.  The top four teams from the preliminary round will then make a presentation to a panel of industry judges.  The winners will then receive a new case for the Australasian finals and be flown to Sydney to make their presentation!
