Industry Insight
Industry Insight gives students the opportunity to discuss key trends in the industry and its impacts on businesses and the economy. All students at the University of Auckland are invited to attend these sessions.
Format
Industry Insight sessions are presented in a format where students are encouraged to discuss and debate the topics of interest.
The industry professional will speak initially for 3-5 minutes on a topic, specific to a his/her industry, outlining the issue and his/her opinion of its effect on business and society. The audience will then be encouraged to ask questions relating to the topic; the speaker may in turn ask some of his/her own. This process will be repeated for each topic.
